Is it OK to ask for reviews? Is it against Google's rules?

Asking is 100% allowed and encouraged by Google. What's against the rules is offering incentives for reviews, reviewing your own business, or cherry-picking who you ask. Our system asks every completed customer, fairly — which is exactly what Google wants.

What about the "smart funnel" — isn't that gating?

We ask the customer's satisfaction privately first. Happy ones are shown the Google link. Unhappy ones are offered a private feedback channel so you can fix the issue. This isn't "gating" — we don't prevent anyone from reviewing publicly if they want. It just gives you a chance to make it right first.

How do you handle negative reviews?

First: we respond within 24 hours, professionally, never defensive. Most reasonable reviewers will revise their review if the response is genuine and the issue gets resolved. Second: if a review is fake, defamatory, or violates Google policy, we file removal requests with evidence — we've successfully removed 200+.
